About us

Discover our history

We are a family winery from Galicia with more than 60 hectares of albariño vineyards in the Salnés Valley in the Rías Baixas region. We pour all our expertise, scientific knowledge and humanity into growing albariño grape.

We are a small family winery, firmly committed to quality, sustainability and internationalization. We have the capacity to produce around 400,000 bottles of albariño. We seek international recognition. Nowadays, Adegas Terra de Asorei’s albariños are available in more than 20 countries.

Terra de Asorei’s logo is a visual poem. It is made up of A’s, reminiscent of the families from the Salnés Valley with a long-standing winemaking tradition dating back to 1953, when the first Albariño Wine Festival was held in Cambados.

These A’s are a symbol of the courageous spirit of our winemaking fellowship: Adega (“winery”), Albariño, Authentic, Atlantic Art with Amor (love”).

Terra de Asorei

Terra de Asorei elabórase con uva albariña 100% do Val do Salnés e durante 6 meses sobre as súas propias lías.
Nos traballamos os viñedos coma o escultor traballa a pedra, talando con ciceladas de experiencia, ciencia, alma e humanidade para acadar arte feita viño: Terra de Asorei.
Cambados, capital do Albariño, é terra de grandes escultores que levaron a pedra e a madeira galega a formar parte do diálogo universal da arte, coma nós queremos presentar a autenticidade do albariño Terra de Asorei para entrar en diálogo cos grandes viños do mundo. Ver viños

Terra de Asorei

Terra de Asorei is produced with 100% albariño grape from the Salnés Valley, and it is aged on its own lees for 6 months.
We work our vines as the sculptor works the stone.Experience, science, soul and humanity are the chisels we use to carve our vines into art made wine: Terra de Asorei.
Cambados, the Capital of Albariño, is a land of great sculptors who took Galician wood and stone to the universal art scene, same as we want Terra de Asorei’s authentic albariños to be on par with the most well-renowned wines in the world. Nai e señora é o nosa homenaxe ás mulleres do século XXI, independentes e con poder. Cando os poetas e artistas galegos de principios do século XX dicían “Nai e señora”, pretendían render homenaxe ás mulleres, traballadoras e garantes da independencia familiar e da sociedade galega e á súa terra: Galicia.
Nai dispón tamén do formato pequeno, de 37,50 cl. Ver viños Nai is an elegant, subtle, mineral and fresh albariño, with a long, persistent aftertaste, which is 100% true to the albariño grape of the Salnés Valley.
Nai e señora (Galician for “Mother and Lady”) is our tribute to the powerful, independent women of the 21st century. “Nai e Señora”, Mother and Lady, is the expression poets in the early 20th century used to honour women—who worked hard to safeguard their families’ independence and Galician society—and their motherland: Galicia.

Pazo Torrado

Pazo Torrado é uva albariña 100%. Elaborado en adega de acordo cos métodos tradicionais do Val do Salnés, nas Rías Baixas. Pazo Torrado é o noso Albariño de toda a vida: afroitado, saboroso e agradable ao padal.
Pazo é o nome galego que reciben as grandes casas. O Pazo de Torrado foi construído na segunda metade do século XVII e reconvertido nos primeiros anos do século XXI mantendo vivos a súa estrutura e os seus característicos xardíns. Está situado en Cambados, onde tódolos veráns dende o ano 1953 outorgase un galardón ós mellores albariños.
Queremos render homenaxe aos amantes deste viño, viticultores e adegueiros que dende a Festa do Albariño, levaron este viño galego ao mundo e o senten no corazón. Ver viños

Pazo Torrado

Pazo Torrado is 100% albariño grape. It is produced in the winery following the traditional winemaking procedures of the Salnés Valley, in the Rías Baixas region. Pazo Torrado is the albariño that we all know and love: fruity, tasty and palatable.
“Pazo” is the name given to traditional Galician stately homes. The Pazo Torrado was built during the second half of the 17th century. At the beginning of the 21st century, it was refurbished, but its original structure and its distinctive gardens were preserved. It is located in the town of Cambados, where every summer since 1953 awards are bestowed on the finest albariño wines.
This is our way of honouring the wine lovers and winemakers who carry this Galician wine in their hearts and who have internationalized it through the Albariño Wine Festival. See wines
